6th Economic Ethics Network Conference
June 14-16th 2018,
10 rue Sextius Michel 75015 PARIS
INSEEC Business School is happy to announce the Economic Ethics Network Conference which will be held in Paris on June 14th to 16th 2018.
In a world showing signs of both increased globalisation and economic fragmentation, the significance of ethics in economics has never been more prescient. Issues such as complex international tax arrangements that are used by multinational corporations to ‘avoid’ corporate tax, or the increasing number of persons working as contractors, and in sub-standard living conditions, prompt us to give greater consideration to how we analyse and address the injustices of the market.
It is convened by :
- Sandrine Blanc, Associate Professor in Business Ethics at INSEEC Business School
- Andrew Walton, Lecturer in Political Philosophy at Newcastle University
- Elizabeth Kahn, Assistant Professor in Political Theory at University of Durham
This conference will bring together leading scholars currently researching across a series of major themes in this area to discuss current waves in the field, advance their research, placing particular emphasis on work that considers practical proposals for improving the current economic system. To this end, it will involve researchers working at the intersections of political philosophy, politics, economics, business ethics, and law.
